Above is a menu list for more specific information about The Crochet Crowd® and myself (Michael Sellick).

Very basic information is that the first video ever filmed was in March 2008 and this entire process was started as a fluke for the love of crochet. Over time, it evolved due to massive time put into the process of creating videos and beginning social media steps. Most of my success was the key to understand key factors and extensive research to see how people interact with the internet and content. 'The Crowd' was created before the buzz word of 'Social Media' was developed. For that alone, it gave me a head start because I was already on the right track. 

I don't work for any crafting companies. I am the social media director of a couple companies providing online support and consultation services. I provide video and written content to trusted companies that can be noticed in the world of crochet on the internet. I have a rule which I have been adamant about and that is "not to produce a video or like a product that I feel isn't useful, over priced or just not meeting the promises on the packaging." This rule has kept me true to my personal beliefs and trust with my viewers. If I feel a product or service is inferior, I will not address it on camera or in social media to avoid giving any promotion to it.
