This is one time Mikey when I cannot agree with you on a pattern. This one makes me feel stressed. I don’t mind the colors . . . in fact I kinda like them but it just feels so messed up . . . kinda like abstract painting usually makes me feel. Sorry, this is one afghan I will not be making.

Can we have another project that’s a handbag with change purse or another accessory? I live in a tropical climate and do not need another afghan. I have crocheted for charity but I’d like some smaller, quicker projects, please.

Your comment about thinking outside the box made me think of my sister who is a fabulous artist. When the comment was made about thinking outside the box she said, “What box? There’s a box??” She is known in glass artist circles for doing what was thought couldn’t be done, only because no one told her it couldn’t be done….so she did it. Hmmmm….I think you may be a lot like Sis.

Mikey all I could do a few years ago was a single and double crochet stitch and straight knitting, until I found a video of yours on youtube 3 years ago, now I am making doilies, doing hairpin lace, entralacing, crochet wire jewelry, kniiting clothes ….. there is nothing I can’t do now and its because of a baby bootie video made by you.. thank you so much just for being you. I adore you.

I’ve had my eye on this colourful afghan for a good while now. I think I liked it because the colours remind me of stripes in beach towels or on deck chairs or the colourful Australian beach huts. If I ever get to the end of my to do list I would make it in my own colours to suit my house. There are some wonderful designs on the Red Heart page.

I haven’t crocheted lately, but enjoy seeing all the various “projects” . I never was very good at it, but still enjoy reading all about everything. Just amazed how good and professional everyone is. Keep up the good work.!!!
