Crochet Baby Gifts for New Mom
Recently, our neighbour had their second child. A baby girl. While we could go buy them a gift certificate, I’m a true believer of ‘homemade is better’.
I crochet a lot of ‘baby sized’ projects for our tutorials without a destination. Most times, items are donated to charity or given as random acts of kindness. Sometimes I keep samples for show presentations.
Daniel and I tend to keep to ourselves in our neighbourhood. We are on a first name basis with our direct surrounding neighbours.
Daniel came up with the idea of rounding up some of the samples that I have done over the years.
You may recognize some of the projects as many of the projects seen here were from tutorials. I will list out the tutorials in case this inspires you. The stuffed creatures were from our Crochet-arium exhibit crocheted by fans around the world. I cannot take credit for those. However, we did a link of where those patterns were found. Some of them were free-formed. Find the link list here.

I can’t seem to find a tutorial that easy for slippers. Have looked everywhere
Love how you make sure everyone knows where to find just what they are looking for!
You might want to leave out the octopus as it has eyes that could be pulled off and swallowed or choked on by small child. It is better to give toys that have sewn on thread eyes rather than buttons or google eyes that could be pulled off but otherwise it’s a great idea!!
I love it. I got a new grandbaby coming in October. I wish you would make some tutorials for baby boy items. I love you guys!
I also have a great grandson on the way in late Sept early Oct. would love some boys patterns,
