Have you ever noticed when you like a particular style of crochet that there’s usually a common thread between you and the crochet designer?
Lately, I keep running into Roseanna Beck’s designs which can be found on several websites which include Red Heart, Favecrafts, AllFreeCrochet, and AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns to name just a few. In fact, we have also featured her patterns here on The Crochet Crowd and you probably haven’t realized it.
By running into her designs as often as I am lately, it tells me that her designs are tapping my interests of what I like to crochet.
Curiosity gets the best of me, who is she and why do her designs tap into my creativity?
Roseanna has many interests in creativity that include crochet, knitting, plastic canvas and latch hooking. She’s been crocheting since she was 7 and contributes her learning experience to her mother’s best friend who was in a wheelchair.
Roseanna is left handed which made it harder for her to learn from her right handed teacher. Over time, though she remains left handed, she switched over to make her right hand be her dominant hand for the crafts. That is not an easy thing to do.
On top of her creativity with the yarn arts, she also plays the organ and piano.
You can see her bio and even many free designs by visiting her AllFreeCrocehtAfghanPatterns Bio.
We have tutorials featuring her designs that I have filmed over the years. If you are a long time Crochet Crowder, you will most likely recognize the designs and not realize it was her that designed them.
