Crochet Fall Poncho Pattern
Fall is a great time for wearing a poncho. The air is crisp and a poncho is the perfect accessory to wear to those outdoor activities. I wear mine in my cool office too. The poncho keeps my arms and hands free for typing all day.
When the new colors of Caron Cakes came out in August, the Plum Crisp immediately gave me that cozy, autumn day feeling. I used front post stitches on this simple design because I love the texture of a slightly ribbed look.
This poncho will fit up to a 1XL, but to make it larger, just continue the pattern until you reach the desired size. You will need more yarn to make it bigger.

Do you turn after every row? Very pretty!
Thanks! The pattern doesn’t say to until Rnd 35. Have you tried turning after every row?
No. Worked out until row 3 then the counts are off….pulling hair out lol will try to start again if the same will go on to another project and scrap this one
No. Worked out until row 3 then I almost scrapped it….then figured out the instructions meant to put dc in chain 1sp instead of in same sp as sc in top of chain …kept coming up 1dc short….my bad 🙄
Does this pattern multiply by 8 stitches each round? thanks
Yes it does at each point 2 dc chain 2 then 2 dc 😀
