I just started crocheting 3 days ago and because of your videos I feeling like I have come a long way quickly. I have a question. At the end of step 3 it’s says “final corner is 2 Hdc, ch 1, 1 hdc to top of beginning chain.” Is this the every 4th corner? Or the FINAL corner after you have repeated step three 8 times and before moving on to step 5.
The issue I am having is that one side of the square is not square, it does not contain as many front posts as the other 3 sides. It is an almost square.
Thank you for the tutorials. A video of this blanket, left handed would be even more helpful

I’m having trouble getting the inner square “square”. I love the look of the blanket, just can’t get it to work correctly.

When I do the FPDC, it seems like it’s increasing. It won’t lay flat. Do you FPDC around all of the stitches? i.e. the two hdc, the previous row’s fpdc and the other two hdc?

I would love to see a tutorial on this blanket as I am also a visual learner. It is beautiful but I can’t seem to get it right.

Mikey, I tote myself to crochet back in the late 60’s. Consider myself an advanced crochet but am having trouble with getting started with that middle sq of the Hooded Baby Blanket. I get the 3 corner spaces but the fourth one does not want to come out right. I s there a tutorial for it. I don’t usualy watch them but may have to have one this time. Thank you, JudySD.

This is a gorgeous blanket but I am unable to do it as I can not find the help I need to even get past the second row. I am stumped as to where I am meant to put this stitch * 1 hdc into top of beginning ch 4* and the subsequent rows. I would so like to make this for my daughter and her baby due in june but I am afraid that it is not going to happen

I love the blanket btw and want to make this for my grandchild that is due in 3 wks…please help. Thank you.

This is gorgeous. I love it. It has come at the perfect time as well because A friend of mine is about to have her first baby. I am going to make it to go with moses basket that I have bought her and filled with baby things. Thank you Mikey for another amazing and beautiful pattern.

Ellie-Have you tried the pattern yet? I am having a terrible time with curling. I have moved up 2 hook sizes and frogged about 9 times. I have never used this yarn and have no idea if the curling is per usual. You could PM me at lucille.ettore@gmail.com if you could “chat” with me! Lucille
