I was looking for a crochet magazine I could may be get for my daughter and came across your article. I think it’s a shame that we cannot find a magazine that is Canada based — Mikey may be that could be your next project lol. Do you prefer getting a magazine in the mail or via digital delivery. Also is there a crochet guild in Ontario?

I’m glad you like the scarf. It’s the first thing I’ve crocheted that my hubby actually said he might wear (since the scary bright checkerboard colorwork sweater I made him before we were married, so he had to wear it).

Looking forward to seeing you at the Knit and Crochet Show this year! Was great to meet you last year! — Laurinda

Hi Mike! I was wondering if you have older issues of Crochet! Magazine. I am looking for a shawl made in pink, maybe a shell pattern, very light and airy. It was on the cover I want to say 2008 or around there. I lost all my copies in a flood and want that pattern to make one for my niece for her wedding. Thanks.

Morning dawn… sorry to read about your situation. I tend not to hold onto magazines in the long term such as that. I didn’t start getting Crochet! until last year. Sorry.

Hi Dawn, you can buy the Crochet magazine collection on DVD for about $50 and it has all the editions from 2002 to 2011, also you can get their digital membership, I got it with my magazines and even though it said you could only go back 3 yrs it went all the way back to 2007! Good luck.

I get the virtual Crochet. I really like the Caledon Cardigan and the Ogee sweater. I need to stop doing request crochet so I can do things like this. I also get Crochet World. I like the diversity and some of the whimsical patterns. Crochet is definitely a class act.

Unlike you, I live at Walmart and Michael’s is across the road. Thanks for this Michael, I too love this pattern. You are so right, not enough patterns for men!
