I watched your video for the children’s mermaid tail blanket and found it really easy to follow. I found this version for the adult size, but I need some help because I want to use a 2 ply cotton yarn bee cake wheel.
Could you tell me what size hook to still get good close stitches and the size hook that I should use? Also, should I double the pattern as far as beginning chains, etc? Thanks so much!

I want to thank you for your video on Mermaid Tail. I just finished my 1st one. I will be doing another one very soon for my other granddaughter. I have learned so much by watching your videos. I wanted to send you a pic of it but can’t figure out how.

Love the video. Wondering if you could do one for the mousie snood. On joanns.com site. They use the same yarn.

When crocheting the main body, do I go in the back loop or the top 2 main loops?

Soooo. I started working on this and have gotten though a whole ball already. Problem is that I think I’ve been doing my HDC wrong. Instead of yarn over, push though, hook yarn and pull back, yarn over, pull though all loops, I did push though, hook yarn and pull back, yarn over, pull through all loops. Is this going to be a problem? Do I have to start over?
