Love the video. Wondering if you could do one for the mousie snood. On joanns.com site. They use the same yarn.

When crocheting the main body, do I go in the back loop or the top 2 main loops?

Soooo. I started working on this and have gotten though a whole ball already. Problem is that I think I’ve been doing my HDC wrong. Instead of yarn over, push though, hook yarn and pull back, yarn over, pull though all loops, I did push though, hook yarn and pull back, yarn over, pull through all loops. Is this going to be a problem? Do I have to start over?

It’s probably going to be a problem because it’s sounds like you were doing a single crochet, rather than a hdc.

Is there a multiple for this blanket? Racking my brain and I can’t figure it out! I thought was multiple of 10 + 2 but for the adult size, that doesn’t hold true 🙁

I’ve been asked to make this for a 5’11” adult. I figured I’d go with an even 6 ft (or 72″). I’m trying to figure out how many rows I want to extend before starting the tapered part. Do you think 32″ is too long and then I would have 40″ for the taper..

Hi, it says to use 6 balls of the Bernat blanket yarn for the adult mermaid pattern. Is that 6 of the big balls? Tks

I’m doing adult size mermaid sack. To the point where it says “Now return to pattern at row 2 of the decrease. I don’t quite understand? Row 2 meaning the actual decrease of 9 hdc 2toghdc..? Or just a hdc all around in each st because that’s 2nd row… HELP?

Hi I’m just wondering for the adult version of the tail do you still do 5 rows in between each of the decreasing rows? Plus is the tail the same length as the one in the child tuition video?

Can I just say this is amazing!!! And I’m going to try the other snuggle sacks as soon as I get some yarn 🙂 what yarn do you suggest for these projects?

Mikey you and your crew are awesome. I purchased my passport last year with hopes of coming to Canada to meet you personally. I want to adopt you and your other to be my grandsons….. I am 66 as of the 25th of Sept and have been crocheting since my Grandma taught me when I was 7 years old. You are truly an inspiration to keep these older hands hooking…..with love Grammy <3

Working on my mermaid tail right now. Just finished my shark! Was wondering if you had a mermaid tail pattern with this yarn for toddlers?

How would I adjust this pattern for a worsted weight yarn? Is there a way?

You were bang on Mikey. My adult daughter asked me for a mermaid tail snuggle sack a few weeks ago and I was pleased to see one up yesterday for a child. Watched the tutorial and knew I could do. Then spent some time trying to make notes on where to change for an adult one when all of a sudden I saw you had done one. Great, end of playing around with groups of 8 chains!!! My main problem is that I live in England and we dont have Bernat Blanket Brights wool so I checked the wool guide and think I need chunky. There are times I wish I lived in Canada!!!!!
