Hi Mikey, I am a new crocheter and follow you on youtube. Looking forward to making this hat. I live in Prince Edward Island Canada and heard on the radio that the number one thing people sought out for last year was yarn. lol Take Care and thanks again Mikey!

The tutorial and pattern is spot on. I love the hat. I’m making one for a gift. I don’t know how to make the poofy ball on the top. Is there instructions for that ?
Thank you so much for all you do for all of us crocheters..

Mikey, I have to tell you how much I love this pattern! I’m making the adult man’s size for my husband for Christmas. I have to do it in secret. The pattern, diagram and of course your tutorial are on the money! Thank you.

Love the pattern, have made one already. Can you include what the stitch gauge is? I always have to go up in hook size so it is helpful to match gauge so my hats will end up the same size as your pattern. This is to get the diameter correct, I see you have sizing for the height. Thanks!!

Is it possible for you to make a video of the crochet sock hat to fit an adult?

The video is already made… you have to substitute the instructions where I instruct in the video. If I did all sizes, there would be 7 sizes and it takes several days to film each one. Use the video as the guide and use the set of instructions I have provided to get the size you need. Thanks.

Mikey is the Bernat Super Value a “Chunky” yarn??

Bang on! I’ve done 2 already but now with the suggested yarn, I’ve got a pile of “must have yarn” barring me from entering my craft room. This hat works up quickly as I’ve done the smallest pattern in bernat stripes and have the second one (stopped at row 7) in bernat super bulky with a 11mm hook. Thank you Mikey!

Looks like its ban on so to speak, and it does look like your sock too, although I will probably use With Love by RH as its my favorite yarn, thanks yet again Mikey.
