Crochet World Magazine Theft
Reports in from Blount County Library in Tennessee are reporting that crafty thieves are helping themselves by stealing the Crochet World Magazine.
I love Crochet World Magazine, I’m not affiliated to this magazine but I love the project and presentation of this magazine in general. I can see why crocheters are wanting to help themselves.
Apparently one sticky fingered hooker keeps stealing the magazine over the past several years and now they are putting a stop to it. But library officials are smartening up and now putting the copies at the reference desk where photo ID’s and library card is required to see it.
They claim that the crafting fiber books are the most likely to be stolen. The library is meant to be a resource for all to enjoy but there is definitely a few that think the library doesn’t need their copies, therefore robbing the chance of other patrons from enjoying this magazine.
On one hand, congrats to Crochet World for producing such an excellent magazine and other the hand, bad hooker for stealing these magazines, may you have lots of knots in your yarn balls!
