Employment Opportunities

Looking for Employment?

Normally, I would leave this off the website as we not looking for individuals at this time to help with the operations of The Crochet Crowd.

I am approached weekly from individuals asking for employment opportunities. There is so much more to The Crochet Crowd than just the crochet itself. We are just a team of four individuals behind the massive community. Most of what we do is behind the scenes and requires website programming, blogging and other functions related to software. Strong knowledge of vital programming is required to keep The Crochet Crowd operational behind the scenes.

We are not looking for volunteer moderators or community leaders at this time. With our team being so small, I prefer our company remain small so that we have a better handle on day to day operations.

If you are seeking a job with Red Heart, please contact them directly. I’m not involved in that portion of Red Heart to make referrals and/or bypass the normal operations of their hiring processes.

There is a typo in the first sentence. It should say we ARE not hiring.
    Anyway, love you guys.

If you are ever looking to expand in the United States, I would be very interested. I am an RN nearing retirement, and have been crocheting since I was 14 years old. Would love a job doing my life’s passion.

We are global. Two of my team members are in the USA that work remotely from home with me. I’m at capacity for what I can afford at the moment. I will check back here on this page should something change. 🙂 Michael

    Hello Mikey!
I just wanted to tell you that I taught myself to crochet 6 years ago. I only made scarves and hats for my children at that time. However, since find you on Facebook ( 6months ago), I have made so many things with your help. You’ve even taught me to read pattern…and you didn’t even know it! Lol! With your help, I’ve made things like “The little Sweetie Dress” and “Yes, Yes, Shawl”, patterns I could never have conquered without your help. Thanks so much Mikey!

Hi Mikey: My name is Theresa Germaine Tetu & I am 44 1/2 years old. I was born with FASD. I was taught to Crochet by a friend. I was wondering if you are going to put any of your Crocheting episodes on DVD. I would like 1 of each episode. The Knit & Crochet now has some Episodes already on DVD.

Hey Theresa… I don’t have any plans for DVD’s at this time. We have tried this many years ago and most people have moved to the digital area. The cost of production, mailing and etc outweighs the demand.

Very well done, Mikey. Yours is the most professional-yet-fun crochet website. How nice to have someone online acting like a gentleman. And we all thought chivalry was dead! Chris

Why don’t you have a search on your website? I am looking for the Tunician Headband you did a while ago.
