Crochet Dragon Bats
The Official Mascot of the Wicked Step Stitches Crochet Cruise, October 2017, is the Crochet Dragon Bat by Diana Barthelmess from Germany. Pattern is available in English. It is approximately under $4.00 USD for the pattern. It’s not a free pattern.
Our Laura Jean crocheted Daniel and I at Huge Beaver. It was one of Diana’s patterns. Laura Jean was telling me how easy it was to follow. We featured the Beaver and Diana reached out to me to thank us for the love on Facebook.
Since her Beaver was so awesome, I looked around in her pattern selection. My eyes instantly stopped on the Dragon Bats! Aren’t those so adorable! Then I realized, OMG, we have a Halloween Crochet Cruise. How about making these as a Mascot for the Ship for us to play around with. In the past cruises, I usually carry a crochet mascot with me.
Usually Crocheters can crochet up something and we take a group photo of our characters together on the ship. We do this before the cruise and the doll becomes our little tag along.
Diana granted me permission to use the doll as an Official Mascot for the ship. As a full disclaimer, we were not paid for this mention. Crochet Cruisers will be asking where the pattern is from and I can reveal where I got it for their convenience.
As always, this is a paid pattern, so please refrain from buying this pattern and distributing it for free. The pattern is 29 pages. Diana has put an extreme amount of work into the pattern writing and photography. For under $4 USD, it’s a small investment of someone’s personal creativity.
