Print It & Record It
Work in progress cards are a brilliant idea. In fact, we use them here at the studio as Colleen, our assistant crocheter, uses recipe cards to record all of her notes.
We forget what type of yarn, especially when dealing with the hook sizes and brands of yarn where the yarn can be any one of the major yarn brands.
She punches a hole into a corner and uses yarn to tie it to the project. We often have to divert her to another project and tell her to put one aside as she does something else.
These cards have been a true lifesaver for us.
Sheri Goad, Guest Blogger of The Crochet Crowd has come up with a printable version where 4 cards are on a regular size piece of paper. You just need to cut the cards out. Fill them out and stick them to your project.
Sheri, being an avid crocheter, provided details that crocheters will appreciate. We staple the pattern to the card. Most of the time, we change colours or something in a pattern and forget about our customizations afterwards.
The cards are free to print out. See Sheri’s Article & Print Out Your Cards.
