Ribbon Candy Table Runner

These instructions are really simple as this is the combination of holiday yarns. Approximate cost of this is about $12.
This can be completed on a 10" or 15" table top Weaving Loom by Schacht. The runner is 8" wide by 28 inches long without the tassels.

Materials:
10" or 15" Schacht Weaving Loom
Yarns Used in this order: Keep in mind that when the Heddle is set up, each slot will have two strings, one going through the middle of the heddle only and the other going through the entire up and down slot.
You will need 1 ball each of Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarns, White, Red & Green.
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn White 4 Slots (8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn Green 4 Slots (8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn Red 4 Slots (8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn White 4 Slots ( 8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn Red 4 Slots (8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn White 4 Slots (8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn Green 4 Slots (8 Strings)
- Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn White 4 Slots (8 Strings)
Cross Yarns are Red Heart or Bernat Holiday Yarn White & Green
Directions
- Feed Machine with the scrap yarn as indicated in the above materials list. There is the number of slots there for each colour. The warp length is 40" from the warping peg to the back beam.
- Using Holiday Yarn White for 5 Rows & then Green for 5 rows, weave back and forth alternating colours every 5 rows for the entire length.
- Remove from loom and tie groups of vertical strings together in an overhand tie knot.
