Yes… These are Scissors
Let’s face it, scissors are not always the easiest to transport around with us. They are not always the safest item in our yarn bags. Clover has one of the best yarn cutters I have seen in the necklaces. Reasonably prices between $7 – $12 depending on which country you live in.
How Do They Work?
Look closely between the cut out notches. There is a round razor blade that is permanently in position. The gapping space is wide enough to get up to a bulky weight 5 yarn.
You simply put your yarn through the notch and tug and it instantly cuts your yarn.
Technically, the necklaces only needs 1 slot but Clover was thinking long term. Scissors over time dulls down. The extra notches provide ample blade access so it’s not something you need to worry about. For most of us, we will probably lose the pendant long before the blade dulls down.
You don’t need to worry about accidentally cutting yourself or even tripping to cut yourself on the blade. The blade is visible but not exposed to cause accidental injuries.
Disguised as Scissors
So while the average person thinks you are wearing a piece of jewelry, they will not realize you are actually wearing scissors unless you tell them. It’s pretty snazzy.
You can find these scissors in retailers that carry Clover products such as Joann.
