Crochet Super Star Baby Blanket
The Crochet Super Star Baby Blanket is one of the first patterns Mikey wrote after deciding to do crochet full time. It would be one of the first blankets that he did that went beyond granny squares.
The tutorial is one of the first videos filmed as well. The fringing in the border was just eyelash yarn double-stranded with the white yarn just for kits.
Crochet a unique baby blanket in the form of a star. They make for great gifts at the baby shower and they are easily foldable around a baby too.

The white colour goes in every 4th round. The video tutorial shows you where to stick the hook after the point. New crocheters tend to miss the first stitch causing the points to bend off to the side.
Materials List
- Bernat Super Value Yarn, 1 Ball Blue, 1 Ball White.
- 6 mm / J Hook. The video demonstration is using G which is too small for this brand of yarn.

This article has two blue buttons. First one goes to correct pattern, the second does not.

I'm not even sure why the second one was there, it's been deleted, thank you for bringing it to my attention! 🙂

Ch3 at beginning of round 2 is unnecessary.
