Stitches, when combined with others, create stitch names such as the Catherine Wheel Stitch, Granite Stitch, Suzette Stitch, Jasmine Stitch, and many more. Since 2008, The Crochet Crowd has been filming many of the combinations and are in tutorial format.
Below is a master list connected to a tutorial. Most tutorials are in left- and right-handed format. The left-handed version is linked in the video descriptions and/or pinned comments of a tutorial.
You can download the master list; each item is linked to a YouTube video that demonstrates how to do it.
.
.
The list connected with YouTube Videos is in alphabetical order. Some stitches have multiple names but are the same things, such as the Linen Stitch, Granite Stitch and Moss Stitch. Some stitches go out of trend and come back as a new name. If you are looking for a master list of Abbreviation Terms with Tutorials, you can also find it on our site.

You have a video on crochet two single rolls at one time?
Mikey says
I don't think I have ever heard of that. Why would someone do that. Can you give me some context so I can understand better?
Mikey says
We do have the thermal stitch though that may be what you are looking for. Here's a video on that. It may be what you are talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzytyTJ9iXg&t=2s

I really appreciate you gathering all of these stitches and tutorials into one big list, thanks so much. Is there any way you could go one step further, to either include the pictures on the page, or have the pictures available as a hover-over? Or - gasp - a video preview as the hover?
Thanks to this list, I've now been introduced to the suspension stitch and the vent stitch, both of which have made it onto my upcoming projects list.
Keep up with the great work!!!
Mikey says
I cannot do that. My system doesn't allow that to happen. I could put pictures of each stitch but then the list would be a forever scroll that people would get frustrated with.
