You deserve a mental reset among old and newfound friends on board Virgin Voyages with The Crochet Crowd. An adult-only cruise and a younger, more mentally inclined demographic of sailors. You are the sailors on board. My common saying is that we may be getting older, but we certainly aren't dead and ready to leave our lives behind; we're ready to live in the moment. Welcome to the 4-Night Weekend Escape Crochet Cruise
With this being our 33rd major event, it was time to try something new... 'cause you never know if it works. Be part of something new. There are so many great advantages to Virgin Voyages over other cruise lines.

Most guests disembark after four incredible nights. You don't have to. Stay onboard for The Encore Voyage Crochet Cruise and keep the memories growing for another 10 unforgettable days. The laughter gets louder, the friendships grow stronger, and just when everyone else is heading home, your best days at sea are only beginning.

Bring the people you love, whether they crochet or not. They'll quickly discover what makes these cruises so special: a warm, welcoming group where nobody stays a stranger for long. By the end of the voyage, you won't just have travelled together. You'll have gained a ship full of friends you'll be excited to sail with again.

Our agent can arrange your airfare and, if necessary, handle your pre- or post-cruise hotel. We strongly advise against arriving the same day if flying, as your flight could be delayed and the ship sets sail without you. If you are local or driving in, you probably won't have the same issues as those flying.
If you prefer to book your own hotel or flights. Just keep in mind you need to get yourself from the hotel to the cruise terminal on your own. Flights going home shouldn't depart before 1 pm, as you may not get off the ship and be transferred to the airport on time.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Rock Star Suites are available only upon request and are subject to onboard inventory availability.

Picture Yourself Here
Imagine this... you've managed to get the time off, packed your bags, and left the everyday routine behind. No school schedules. No endless to-do lists. Just you, the open sea, and four nights to rediscover the carefree side of yourself.
Virgin Voyages is an adults-only cruise line with a completely different energy. On these shorter sailings, you'll find a younger, vibrant crowd looking for a quick escape. They're not escaping life. They're pressing pause on it.

One thing I noticed right away was how relaxed everything felt. Without unlimited alcohol packages encouraging nonstop drinking, the atmosphere was refreshingly different. People were laughing, dancing, singing, dressing up, and letting loose without the ship feeling overrun by sloppy behaviour. It wasn't about drinking more. It was about enjoying the moment more. If you do want cocktails or wine, you can easily set up a bar tab and enjoy your favourites.
Somewhere between the sail-away party, spontaneous conversations, late-night laughter, and dancing like nobody's watching, you'll remember what it feels like to simply have fun again.

The Breakfast Club
Mikey usually has early mornings on the cruise ships that he casually calls The Breakfast Club. It's when he gets to know others.

Latch Onto ADHD!
A shorter cruise doesn't mean less fun. It means the excitement starts sooner and keeps going. Join every activity or spend the afternoon relaxing in the hammock on your private balcony. The choice is yours.
The fun begins with Virgin Voyages' legendary Pyjama Party as we sail from Miami, followed by the 80s Party, the hilarious VHS Workout, Scarlet Night, and other themed events throughout the voyage.

We'll gather for a dedicated crochet workshop on February 19, 2027, along with scheduled stitch sessions and social meetups. In between, enjoy everything the ship has to offer, including Drag Queen Bingo, live entertainment, incredible dining, and unforgettable moments with your new crochet friends.
Come for the cruise. Leave with memories and friendships you'll be talking about long after you're home.

Pre-Cruise Hotel
We will have a pre-cruise hotel arranged for guests who need a room a day or two before departure. This is not worked into the price, as some guests prefer to drive to the cruise terminal. Joanne will have a booking open for this when ready to get one of the rooms we have.
- We can arrange this for you. However, because it's boat week during this time frame, hotel space is limited and not guaranteed. Book early to guarantee your reservations.
- When you arrive at the hotel the day before, ask the hotel to arrange a shuttle to the cruise terminal. This is an extra fee, and/or you can take a taxi on your own.
Anytime Dining
- The evenings are free to do as you please. 50% of the dining reservations are released before the cruise, but you can reserve on the ship, too.
- Maybe you met a few friends and want to eat with them instead.
- The eatery areas have vignettes of stations set up, made to order to create less waste. From classic American dishes to foreign cuisine. Don't underestimate the peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch.
- There is no upcharge at most restaurants. They are not going to nickel-and-dime you.
- Choose a quieter meal or be part of the entertainment. You decide.
Travelling Alone?
No problem, but inventory is running out of the solo cabins. Meaning it's designed for 1 person instead of paying for 2 in a cabin when it's just you. There is special entertainment on board for solo travellers who may be looking for other singles to mix and mingle.
Book asap to reserve your space.
