Crochet Link Treble Super Fast Cowl Pattern + Helpful Tutorials

Using Link Treble Crochet Stitches and combining them with Caron All Day Wool yarn, this pattern is only seven rounds. Each round is very tall and interconnected with the others. This is the Crochet Link Treble Super Fast Cowl pattern.

I was focused on two balls of yarn, one of each colour, to make it work. Sometimes, we don't want overcomplicated and enjoy the stitchwork. Below are tutorials to assist you.

The yarn is a 20% wool with 80% acrylic to make it affordable. It's a super-bulky #6-weight yarn. I prefer my cowls to tuck into my coat without being so cumbersome that they make me look larger than I am. I want options to pull it up to my ears.

    Instructions

With A, ch 50. Careful not to twist the chain. Sl st to beg ch to form ring.

    Beginning Tip

We are going to begin with link treble crochet immediately along the chain, as it’s a much more compact stitch, and doing regular treble crochet in the first row will ruffle out.

1st rnd: RS. Beg ltr. Ltr in each around. Join. Break A. 50 ltr.

    End of Rows Tip

When you end a yarn colour, leave a bit longer so you can use it to whipstitch the gap to close it up.

    How to Link Treble Crochet

I will show you how to do this stitch and also share tips for filling in the spaces at the beginning/end of a round.

2nd rnd: With B, join with sl st to beg st. Beg ltr. Ltr around. Join. Break B. 50 ltr.

3rd rnd: With A, join with sl st to beg st. Beg ltr. Ltr around. Join. Break A. 50 ltr.

4th rnd: With B, join with sl st to beg st. Beg ltr. Ltr around. Join. Break B. 50 ltr.

5th rnd: With A, join with sl st to beg st. Beg ltr. Ltr around. Join. Break A. 50 Ltr.

Repeat the 1st rnd on the other edge.
