- Dc = Double crochet
- Dcbp = Double Crochet Back Post
- Dcfp = Double Crochet Front Post

- Rnd(s) = Round(s)
- RS = Right side
- Sl st = Slip stitch
- Sp(s) = Space(s)

Instructions
1st rnd: RS. With A, join with sl st to the neck area. Ch 1. Evenly space 28 sc around, or an even number. Do NOT join, as you want to go in a continuous rnd to avoid any slip stitching at the neck.
1st rnd: 1 dc in each sc around.
2nd rnd: *1 dcfp around next dc, 1 dcbp around next dc. Rep from * around.
3rd rnd: *1 dcfp around next dcfp, 1 dcbp around next dcbp. Rep from * around.
4th rnd to 6 to 8" long: Rep 3rd round.
Sl st into the next st. Fasten off.
