With increased demand for the Crochet Waffle Stitch, I wondered what it would look like if the waffle were to adopt a chevron or wave pattern instead. It led me to investigate the possibilities of doing this in blanket and scarf formation. This is the Crochet Unicorn Waffle Wedge Thick Scarf pattern.
The waffle looks pretty amazing, spreading out from the centre. An easy 6-row repeating pattern with obvious signs when you may be falling off the beaten track. A stitching diagram is included in the download of this pattern.
With Red Heart Super Saver Bitty Stripes, you cannot go wrong. One scarf equals one 78" long by 6" wide scarf.
