Yarnspirations describes the colouring technique that has been trending as appearing like watercolours. Phasing on its own inside the Red Heart Super Saver Bitty Stripes. I questioned about using this yarn with a combination of the crochet linen stitch with double crochet rows, using 2 rows of the moonbean to separate each time the ball is switched. Essentially, 3 rows of a colourful ball and 2 rows of the creamy-looking ball to separate them.
When you change the ball to another colour, it changes the tone and keeps the mental interest, at least to me, with the ADHD tendencies I have. This is the Crochet Watercolours Blanket pattern.
The goal was to use only 1 ball of 4 different colours of Red Heart Super Saver Bitty Stripes. Let the yarn play out its own colour.

Size U.S. J/10 (6.0 mm) crochet hook.
Gauge: 13 sc and 14 rows = 4” [10 cm]

Instructions
- Each multiple spans 6” wide, and there are 8 chevron multiples in this example.
- When a colour is finished, put the ball aside and pick it up later when the colour comes back into play. Don’t control the colouring of the ball itself and crochet.
- The two rows of moonbeam are always the same when you complete it between each colour segment.
- The three rows of the colouring, the 3rd to 5th rows, are always the same stitchwork but with a different colour later on.
With A, ch 218. Stitch multiple is 27 chs + 2.
