The Crochet Pinwheel Pop Blanket is my favourite stitch of all time, called the Catherine Wheel Stitch. I experienced this stitch nearly 40 years ago, and it is still a passionate concept for me. Just when I think I've seen neat things with this stitch, along comes another yarn that surprises me with how good it looks.
This blanket was filmed 10 years ago as the Big Wheel Crochet Blanket using Bernat Blanket, but switching it to Bernat Blanket Swivel really surprises me. I want to make one just to have it. I know... I know... keep on creating something new.
The advantage of today's pattern is that a stitching diagram has been included for those who want more of a visual to follow. You will find that in the free download.

To change the size of this blanket, which will change the yarn quantity, even if you are going to change the hook size and yarn completely, the stitch multiple is 10 chains + 7.

You can use 4 ply medium-weight for substitution as well. I happened to marl two yarns together, but you can just do a single strand too. Below is the blanket I made during the crisis moment of my divorce from my former wife. I stitched my feelings into this blanket and wrapped myself in the rainbow when I came out of the closet.
