Thank you for your hard work!
Would you be able to explain how to convert your mosaic method ( 2 rows) into the one row - cut at the end of each row- method?
I want to do the Nordic Stripes and the Joann CAL but I can only do the one row method.
Thanks in advance!
Mikey says
I don't understand your question. Can you rephrase it. I don't know what is meant by 2 rows into 1 row.
MC says
This page explains the difference. https://www.rosinaplane.com/mosaiccrochet
Overlay == one row of each color. If you're working in rows, that means cutting yarn at the end of each row. If you're working in the round, no cutting needed.
Inset == two rows of each color. You stitch across, then back, returning to the starting edge of the work and carrying unused yarn up the side.

Hi there! I came across the tartan plaid blanket tutorial on your YouTube site (published June 24, 2011) and was wondering if there was a written pattern anywhere for it? I'd love to try it but I like having something to read along with and I couldn't find it on here. Thank you!
Marina King says
No we don't have a written pattern for the blanket, I found a scarf pattern with as close as I could find style, if you would like to try that, just simply increase the chains for a blanket.

Where can I find Mikey's original learn how to crochet videos? They were so helpful for me when I first started out 6 or 7 years ago. He taught me how to hold my hook and the yarn and how to do each stitch. My daughter and some friends of mine are wanting to learn how to chrochet, and these videos are such amazing resources, but I can't seem to find them anywhere now! Please help!
Marina King says
all his video's are in youtube, just type in "the crochet crowd" and whatever it is you are looking for, ex. "the crochet crowd beginner tutorials" if he has a video for it, it will come up
