My comment is not specifically related to only one pattern, but all patterns in general. It is very helpful when a pattern gives the ‘ranking’ as to the expertise need for the pattern. I think I’m fairly capable at handling even the ones catorgized ‘expert’, but sometimes I just want a very simple designe that I can just loose myself in and not have to constantly keep checking the instructions.
Something I think would be helpful if there was somekind of ‘ranking’ system for the quanity of yarn needed. We all know that some patterns require more yarn to cover the same area as others. i. e. the C2C has been catorgized as a ‘yarn eater’. Most of us realized that that an afghan made completely of the ‘V’ stitch would use considerably less yarn to obtain the same size.
With it being winter here in the northern hemisphere and several of us not having the ability to go buy more of a particular yarn, knowing in advance if we had enough in our stash to complete an item. Some patterns give a breakdown of the amount by color, but I do not always have the specific color or I decide I want to use a different color combination , it would help if I didn’t have to do the math lol.
Frequently I will use a stitch pattern that is worked into a scarf to make an afghan. So, even if the quanity (yardage) of yarn needed to comlete a ‘gauge swatch’ was given it woud be helpful in determining if I already had enough yarn on hand to complete the item.
    You all are the greatest!

OUr magazine is strictly digital. We don’t print it as we don’t want to cause an environment issue of paper waste. Thanks for your understanding. There is a print option if you want to print it on your own print. 🙂 Michael
