My interwoven cowl with a turtleneck will be finished later this fall, 2024. It's an easy-to-follow pattern using two balls of Bernat Symphony yarn in Maple or Sea Spray.
I designed this in June 2024 and considered how to achieve a woven look on the front of the cowl. It took me several tries to get the sizing right, but I eventually nailed the formula.
Once the interwoven section is done, you could build this into a turtleneck poncho. The interwoven cannot continue, but it would be a fabulous front square.
I have a second version to alter my design to eliminate the points on the shoulders and down the back. But will point down the front to keep you warm with an open jacket.
We are doing several projects for the Alaskan Retreat, and they wanted four classes from me. Yarnspirations was gracious enough to send yarn to Anchorage for me, which is confirmed to be able to stitch together at the lodge with our guests for the several-day retreats. The retreat is sold out.
Journey Members on YouTube now have full access to the pattern, and the tutorial will be available ahead of time as a thank-you for helping us with their monthly subscriptions.
For the public, this will come out later this fall and definitely after the retreat.
