This trend is primarily in the Midwest USA, but that's not to say we cannot have one just because we think it's fun, too.
These outfits fit the 21" to 23" tall porch goose. Be sure to check your gauge when you crochet to ensure it fits properly. Get that Red Heart Super Saver out or Lily Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn. Go 'honkers' hooking up fun outfits.

Acrylic Fading
Acrylic yarns will fade over time when exposed to direct light and/or outdoor conditions. You can see my year-long experiment of leaving out an item to go through one year of our season here at home.
In short, I'm not saying you shouldn't decorate, just don't hook it and forget it.

I have a tiny, 5 inch desk goose and need to adapt these to fit her. But I love these!

I find that a 23” pattern works well for the 7” porch goose by taking the stitches and cutting the numbers in half. I usually use a 5.5mm for the 23” outfits, and for the 7” I use a 3.5mm. I’ve been making 7”, 20”, 23” and 28” goose clothes for nearly a year. Hope this helps!
