Children’s Hospital of Alabama accepts crocheted donations of all sizes.. Preemies and up. At the time our grandson was in the NICU there was only one woman donating items. Everyone including the nurses are always so excited to get items to give to the families. They are not only used but are treasured. Our family has been there, talked to the nurses, & seen for ourselves HOW MUCH this is appreciated & used. I am not physically able to do much, but would love to know they are receiving help. I have seen their joy & the “hope” & “love” that these people feel when they feel like “someone CARES” & feel like they are not “alone”. Sometimes preemie things are hard to find or come by. And some preemies don’t make it. So these families take lots of pics “afraid” they could lose their baby. They enjoy having something to put on them to take special pictures OR have something to treasure. Please consider checking on this & “Thank You SO much”!
