Coming in late July 2026 is a stitch-along featuring the Crochet Diamond Dancer Blanket. I've always been super curious about this concept, but didn't have a free pattern to play with. Yarnspirations has created this stunning crochet example to tempt me a lot!

The stitch along will be in four parts. From Full Diamond to two versions, so half diamonds, and then the final to put it together and do a final border.
This could be an award-winning blanket for competition shows.

This uses Bernat Fabwoolous, and the colouring is rich.

We have a few projects featuring crochet bargello stitching. This is the Crochet Rainbow Waves Blanket. You can see, you can play with colouring with this concept beautifully. A tutorial is also available to show you the way.

This is holding for the project's launch in late July 2026.
What will we be getting into today? Let's do a quick overview to see if this project is for you.
Let's create the full motif together. There are two different colour palettes, but they use the same stitchwork. The first time through may be a bit harder, but once you get it, you get it. Let me show you how.
Let's create the horizontal half diamond shape that goes into position. You need to make 12 of them.
Learn the vertical half-diamond shape to use on the blanket's tops and bottoms. You will need to make 6 of them.
