Meet The Crochet Carpenter, based out of Ontario, Canada. I recently discovered him because of a pattern on Yarnspirations.com that caught my attention. He designed the Crochet Yarnley Pattern, a fun play off of a reusable water bottle.
VISIT HIS WEBSITE
I've always said, there's room for everyone in the yarn arts. Upon further inspection to see who he was, I realized his website had a Canadian .ca domain. I realized, "Oh, he's Canadian like me!"

Aaron has a thoughtful website called The Crochet Carpenter, where he blends two worlds that seem so far apart but make so much sense together. He specializes in Amigurumi (stuffies), what's not to love about that?
You can follow him on Instagram, too. I am now following, as I am dying to see what genius comes out of him next. I'm genuinely excited for him. His Instagram is completely inspiring, and some of his amigurumi are HUGE!
FOLLOW HIM ON INSTAGRAM

Reading his profile, he prefers Amigurumi with as little sewing as possible. That speaks to me, as it's usually the sewing that really gets to me with stuffies. That's just absolutely smart.
It's hard to get recognized on a more global level in the yarn arts, and I encourage you to check out his website and social media. He has some free patterns too.
If you love BlanketGurumi, where you use Bernat Blanket yarn to make extra squishy stuffies, he has that.
He also sells finished items, but I think they are probably snapped up pretty quickly. Who doesn't need a Chicken Nugget? Right!?
He also has some free blueprints for those who sell Amigurumi to make display stands for your craft tables if you have the skills. I know myself with a saw and drill is pathetically ridiculous, but I love it all the same.

Let's encourage Aaron and see what else is kicking around his head! Based on the free pattern on Yarnspirations, I read through it and found it well thought out, cuts right to the chase, and is easy to follow, with background photos supporting it! Win-win-win for everyone!

Have you completed this project. Show me!
