Community development since 2008 and officially named The Crochet Crowd in September 2010. The company name was uttered by Daniel Zondervan and instantly resonated.
Both Daniel and I believed the company's name shouldn't be self-focused but community-oriented. I instantly agreed, as my journey is unique to me, and everyone has their own path.
Crochet is a small niche of society and is a completely different journey than knitting. Comparing the two is unfair and unrealistic, as the origins of crochet and knitting do not overlap. We happen to use the same raw materials but different tools and approaches.
