Mikey's Top Tip
Crochet is not a race. Though mainstream media focuses on bigger and faster for the yarn arts, the true joy in crochet and knitting is the stitching journey. Take the time you need and don't lose focus on why you are crocheting in the first place.

FAQ
It's not that hard, but it does require planning. Mikey tends to whip-stitch items together. We have 6 Ways to Join Squares and Motifs Together here for joining motifs.
We have a master list of crochet hook sizes. For Canadians and others around the world, we use metric millimetres to suggest hook sizes, but for our friends in the United States, they use a letter of the alphabet. Both mean the same thing. See the entire list of crochet hooks with the substitute for the metric versus the USA.
We can show you how it's done and what to look for. We have an article with a tutorial that breaks down the anatomy of a crochet pattern so you can learn to read it. Learn How To Read Patterns here.
