Status: Workshops (5 seats left) and Crochet After Dark are available.
Sail away with us on board Celebrity Edge on July 10th, 2026, from Seattle, Washington, to as far north as Skagway, Alaska, on board a fabulous crochet cruise. A week on board a luxury cruise ship with fellow crocheters like you. A holiday and planned events just for you, hosted by Daniel and I (Mikey). This will be our 3rd time experiencing the joy of Alaska on board a cruise ship. This is our 26th Crochet Cruise.
Why go on a cruise ship with crocheters? Why not! Life is short, and having instant friends on board a cruise ship makes it much more enjoyable. You can be one of thousands on a cruise ship, but you will instantly have between 100 and 175 people as part of your adventure. A memory is best shared.

- July 9th, 2026 - Seattle Day Tripping (Optional Tours, extra charge for those who want to see Seattle).
We recommend arriving the day before. A pre-cruise hotel will be selected, and you can book with our corporate rate. This is done about 6 months before the cruise.
Workshop pass holders are welcome to attend Crochet After Dark. One of the Crochet After Dark will be the Private DJ Party; we don't know when the ship will put us this early out.
Due to the location of Alaska, it will be lit for a very long time into the day. Even meeting at 8:30 pm, groups may want to go to the buffet for the panoramic windows to hang as it will still be light out well into the evening.
- July 10th, 2026 - Coach Bus from Hotel for guests booked with our group. Board the Cruise Ship and Begin the Crochet Cruise. The entire group meets in the evening.

Hi there. I’m interested in one of your cruises but as a Canadian, unfortunately won’t cross into the U.S. given the current political climate. Will you run any cruises out of Canada? Thanks.
Mikey says
There is a stupid rule out of the cruise industry that a ship must leave one country, visit another for the major cruise ships. Even Holland America out of Quebec City departs and does the eastern Maritimes of Canada but also goes down to Maine to honour this crazy rule/law.
We have cruises out of Europe that you can bypass the USA completely but it sounds like you prefer to stay on our soil and waters up here.
I'm sorry... This is a problem and I know it to be true as well. You are not the first to suggest this as well.

I would like to join the classes and after party activities. If you need a deposit, please let me know. The Alaska Cruises are excellent vacation. This will be my second time doing it. Can not wait to join your group again. Happy Alaska Crochet Snow Girl!

It would be nice to have the option to opt out of the WiFi and drink package. My husband and I don’t use these options, and they are expensive. Total cost for both of us is Cdn is $6600, when you can book through the cruise line for $3500 cdn for the same room, gratuities extra workshop extra- a difference of $4600

As part of the perks of the cruise, the entire group has to either take the perk or no one gets it. The activities on board that we are doing are included in our the tickets as the rental spaces, services contracted to host the event are worked into the prices. The price you are seeing direct from the cruise line is with the established entertainment on board.
I did strongly consider not getting WIFI and drink packages which includes the coffee, bottled water, alcohol but many of our group likes going to the coffee shop on board. Many people like wine for supper or when they meet up at the martini bar for stitching afterwards.
We used to not provided WIFI and what happens on a group of ours is that people will miss updates from social media posts on changes, pop up meet ups and so on. So for people who opted not to purchase the WIFI, they have no idea where people are on the ship for gatherings. In special circumstances, we have had to resort to calling every cabin and leaving voicemails in the hope people go back to the cabin. People feel like they are missing out and are really upset about it but they opted not to buy the WIFI and it was really on them in the end. However, the blame gets pushed over to me for lack of communications.
In stuff like this, we try our best to keep the costs in check.

I'm disabled and wheelchair dependent. My Son and DIL are my helper monkeys and will come along too. They don't crochet,I do,voraciously.
Would they get a different rate since we will all be in one cabin?
Mikey says
The number you place in your cabin is between you and our agent. You will need to request an accessibility cabin. We are not allowed to hold those cabins as there is a limited number on the cruise ship. They are open to everyone to book. At the time of launch, our agent will need to check. Your Son and DIL won't need to buy a full on activity package but only a crochet after dark program to allow them to be included into our private spaces with you.
