Before Sending Mikey an Email
Mikey doesn't have access to Yarnspirations Customer Service or Online Ordering to check on orders. Please use Yarnspirations Customer Care to inquire. If you are inquiring about a Yarnspirations Pattern and need more information, instructions, or questions, please get in touch with Yarnspirations Customer Care.
As of August 20, 2014, we no longer offer personalized pattern searching due to the creation of social media. However, you can use our social platforms to make inquiries with community members.
YouTube Membership & Issues
We have a YouTube Membership, which includes Passport and Journey Levels. Both levels are set in Canadian Dollars, but the currency changes globally to match your country for the currency exchange. Journey Level has a full backstage pass to up-and-coming tutorials.
If you have payment issues, we cannot access your financial information or membership through YouTube; Google handles it directly. You can contact Google through this form for payment issues, membership, and other inquiries.

Pattern Support
If you have issues with a Crochet Crowd Pattern, such as a mistake or more, we want to hear from you. Be as straightforward as possible with the error. If you have found the pattern elsewhere, please get in touch with that source and/or designer.
Not Responsible
If a scammer downloads one of our free patterns and charges you for it, you must follow up with the scammer for a refund. Mikey sells patterns through his other website, Mikey's Stitch Studio. Refunds are not offered for digital downloads.
Phone Calls
We do not offer telephone support.

Community Guidelines
Please Stay On Topic
- Posts and comments should be related to yarn, including but not limited to products and patterns. They must also relate to knitting, crochet, or other yarn crafts. We encourage you to share your inspiration for your next project, WIP projects, favourite yarns, or request help with patterns, techniques, or product recommendations.
No Trolling, Hateful or Discriminatory Comments
- Trolling, hateful, or discriminatory comments threatening or abusing an individual will not be tolerated, and offending users will be removed.
Link Etiquette
- You don't need to share a link or tell us where your project inspiration is from. You may share the link where your project is from, but from a regular crocheter's point of view. Shared links intended to fundraise, promote or sell anything will not be permitted. Links to other Facebook groups, Facebook Pages or other social media platforms won't be allowed.
Only Share Your Photos
Please don’t take credit for other people's work. If you are sharing a photo that is not your own (or a Yarnspirations.com photo or Crochet Crowd Photo) please ensure you have permission to be sharing it.
Promotional Posts
- To make the group as valuable as possible to all members, promotional posts or links will not be allowed. This includes patterns, finished items, and yarns for sale. Promotion of in-person meetings, links or posts promoting other yarn companies, or spam will also be removed.
YouTube Membership
- We have a YouTube Membership that allows crocheters to help fund The Crochet Crowd. The Journey Membership Level has access to resources and patterns that are exclusive to them due to the membership. These members may share exclusive WIPs of their projects from time to time. There should be no pressure on these crocheters to hand over resources or needless guilt trips for access to which they help contribute.
Complaints About Shopping
- If you need help with a retailer or online resource. Please take the complaint directly to them. If you need to air your grievance, please use your personal Facebook instead of this group. We cannot solve the problems you may be complaining about, nor do those companies see your complaint to help solve the problem.
Medical
- Please keep your medical conditions to a bare minimum. This group is not designed to seek advice or give advice for medical treatments. Please see your family doctor and/or post those to your own Facebook page for your immediate friends who know you. This is a public group.
Financial or Personal Situations
- Your financial or personal situations, typically considered private, should be kept off this group.
Admin Sharing
- Mikey will occasionally share sales from Yarnspirations or promotional campaigns. This is part of being sponsored by Yarnspirations, which aims to keep content as free as possible.
Email Us
- Our service automatically deletes emails where there is no subject title.
- Links within the emails will not be opened.
Emails are responded to in the order in which they are received. Due to the sheer volume of emails, not all will get a response. Mikey is the only one who receives the emails; it's not personal; it's just overwhelming.

I had a comment on here and Marina King replied, but her link didn't really help me. Which I replied to her. Now my suggestion isn't showing. How do I attach the zig-zag pattern section of the woven pattern mosaic crochet blanket from this spring, to the blocks section. I had to cut off the zig-zag and stacked blocks at the beginning of the blanket to make a new chain, and then ended up having problems. I cut off the zig-zag section from the offset squares by threading a length of yarn through the stitches in the row above where I needed to cut. I don't know how to fix that row, as the length of yarn is the only thing holding it together. Do you have a video for crocheting a section to another section above it using sc, but not granny squares.
Marina King says
lay one side you want to join, out flat right side facing you, then lay the piece you are adding on top right facing down (towards the piece you are adding it to) starting at one end using a needle and thread you work the outside loop (the loop away from you on the bottom piece, and the closest loop facing you on the top piece) of both sides onto the thread continues to the end.

I'll give it a try. I still don't know how to secure the stitches above where I cut off the section and only have a length of yarn running through them to keep them from coming apart while I cut below. Any suggestions? There are tutorials that I don't understand. Wish Mikey had one for this.

if you want to join through that side, work the needle of the bottom of the stitch where you have the yarn running through it and join it to the finished edge of the other piece. as long as you are able to get all of the bottom stitches where you cut, you should be fine. even if you want to work around the yarn you already worked in there to hold the stitch for added security. its a bit of a pain and may take you a little longer than a normal join, but it is doable, I have done it.

If you haven't yet, you'll have to contact customer service https://www.yarnspirations.com/ca-en/contactus?utm_source=Influencer_TCC&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=2020_06_15_Email_Yarnspirations, unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do on our end.

Hi Mikey! I am working on the Easy Cotton Bib video tutorial and happened to check Etsy for other bib patterns and I found a shop that is selling your bib pattern and even uses your thumbnail picture as their picture! I listed it in the website space of this reply.

I'll let Yarnspirations.com know. It's their pattern. Thanks so much.
