5 Star Crochet Cowl
When I heard that we would be crocheting the 5 Star Beanie Hat for the Alaskan Crochet Cruise, I just knew I would need to have a matching cowl. It is actually more of a neck warmer and would be perfect for those really cold winter days. I am not really a hat person, but will wear one if I know I'll be cold. Here is what I came up with using the same stitch. See how perfect it matches the hat? I think I scared Mikey a bit though. 😉

Tutorial
Fast Forward to the Star Stitch Concept. The difference of the hat and the cowl is that the hat will eventually decrease in number to form to the top of that hat. In this case, for the cowl, the stitch is consistent without any increases or decreases in each revolution. So it makes it an easy pattern to follow.
Finished size - 9" high x 26" Circumference
