Country Crochet Quilt Pattern by MikeyCrochet Country Quilt

Crochet Entrelac Style can be a lot of fun with slowly transitioning yarn. Though the yarn depicted is discontinued, it was called Bernat Mosaic. For the colour transitioning effects it had, it was one of my favourite yarns.

I crocheted this fantastic afghan. It was one of the highlights of my crochet projects I have ever done. I get bored with solid colours easily and this suited my needs.

Today, we have Caron Cakes Yarn. Though it doesn't transition as much as the Bernat Mosaic, you can still end up with really rich looking Entrelac Afghans. Attached is a free pattern showing the Entrelac Instructions with Caron Cakes.

If you can find slowly transitioning yarn at a reasonable price, you will love how Entrelac can work up.

I love your videos learning so much since I was only crocheting plain granny squares.
