Crochet Happy Hexagon Afghan Pattern

This Crochet Happy Hexagon Afghan features post stitches for added texture and join-as-you-go to speed the assembly process.  You can make this blanket as small or as large as you like my simply adding more hexagons.  I used 5 Caron Cakes of the new Mixed Berry colorway to make 24 hexagons, then another full Cakes plus part of another for the detailed border.  You can also substitute any worsted weight yarn and change colors as you like.

When you upload your project to The Crochet Crowd Stitch Social Group or Instagram, feel free to tag me so I can see what you have crocheted.  Follow me on Instagram @ jeannestein or on Facebook.  My designs can also be saved in your Ravelry favorites by following me HERE.

I can't find the Video of making the Afghan like the C2C Afghan except I want to see the Straight rows of it.

I have a question. For the joining, do we have to chain two before we slip stitch into the beginning of the single crochet?

    Jeanne,
When I try to print this pattern, which I love by the way, all that prints out is squares and letters, no pattern.
    Thank you.

Selina, I have used the copy and paste method and I used the little icons right under the Happy Hexagaon Afghan and the same little icons under Jeanne's signature at the bottom. I am not experiencing this problem. Sorry.
