Do you think what I am thinking? Where in the hell has this stitch been all my life... If you are not feeling that, you can't sit with us. Seriously though... Holy cow! I just saw this a few minutes ago, and anything work in progress is about to collect dust to try this bad boy! I've been a good boy, too!

This is the Bernat Diamond Stitch Blanket. I'll provide more information below for changing the size if you want to create something like this for smaller sizes like the palliative care or baby blanket size.

I don't even understand how this is even possible. Will that stop me... you must be new around here cause you know I am going to be in on this pattern like a clearance yarn sale.

Included with the pattern is a crochet diagram. Do I understand it yet? No... will I understand it... You bet. Please let me know if I run a tutorial in the comments below.

Palliative Care Option

I can see this as being a tremendous palliative care blanket, too. I just have to make it a bit narrower, and the designer has given us a multiple of 6 chains + 4. So that's very doable, too. Don't make it 60" long. Something like 48" x 48" max would be great. Chain 100 would be a good one to start with, a multiple of 6 chains + 4. I think I'll do that. Lawd knows people in my region could use some blankets through the Family Resource Centre.

Me too. I like to crochet along as it is explained I panic when having to read. My brain does better when someone explains what I need to do.

The patterns seems to be well explained, as usual, but I'd never say 'no' to a tutorial!
