Side Lean Stitch
The Side Lean Stitch is similar to the concept of the Corner to Corner (C2C). The stitch counts are almost identical but this stitch doesn't go from corner to corner. It works up in straight rows back and forth.
Like the corner to corner (C2C), the stitches create a texture raise and fall look. It's pretty neat.
To Make Different Sizes
Multiple of 4 sts + 2.
Remember the + number at the end of the sentence means that you are to add chains at the very end to maintain the pattern as written.
Hook size and yarn doesn't matter for this stitch. Just ensure the hook compliments the yarn gauge so it sits properly.
Recommended Pattern
This stitching pattern appears in the Baby Sampler Blanket. You can use that free pattern to help you. If you prefer to make different sizes using this stitch, just follow the multiple count above to customize your own design.
