Due to popular demand, we are returning to the sea for another two cruises in late fall 2025. Several people throughout this year have been asking when the next cruises will be. It seems they are missed.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 5, 2024, at noon Eastern Time, and the buttons below will be activated then.
If you are doing back-to-back cruises, please complete the registration forms on BOTH CRUISES, as our inventory is being counted.

Activities Price List
On the registration page, prices include the $500 level. If you choose a different package, such as Crochet After Dark, Back to Back and/or Bring Guests for our event, prices will be adjusted accordingly.
Not listed, we have two additional events. The first cruise is an exclusive land event for YouTube Members only. The second cruise is a Sunset Catamaran Cruise open to all but limited to the catamaran's capacity. Both are extra-ticketed events to be scheduled.
Prices don't include airfare or parking at the cruise terminal. Not everyone uses these services. We will also have a pre-cruise hotel location as most people come in a day early to ensure they don't miss the cruise. This is optional but under a group discounted rate to book with our agent. We will announce closer to the cruise for those who wish this option. We will also arrange a shuttle service to get you from that hotel to the cruise terminal on the morning we set sail.

Crochet After Dark Package
Due to the high volume of interest, we have added this package for those who cannot get into the workshop programs. It's a package that will allow these guests to have some swag, a lanyard pass to access our private space(s), dinner with our group, access to the evening stitch socials that are in our private space, and ticket(s) to our exclusive DJ Private Party. You will bring your own yarn and project ideas with you.
There will be a one-cruise option and then a discount if going on both cruises for access to the private spaces in the evenings only.
Just Guests - No Crochet

Due to the location and number of cruise days, both offer different price points. We opted for this cruise ship because it's not the newest toy on the ocean, and the pricing reflects that. With only 3,324 guests on board, this ship compared to Royal Caribbean's Icon, which has nearly 6800 guests, loading and unloading the ship during stops is relaxed without a pushy feel.
All our meeting spots on the ship will be mobility-friendly and suitable for wheelchairs and scooters.
This will be a crochet cruise with assistance/sponsorship from Yarnspirations to help us get our products to the ship.
We will bring yarn and workshop supplies and have a program on board. We will have a community project to benefit someone in your life or the charity you love.
Safe Space
Due to The Crochet Crowd's inclusiveness, our events are open, safe spaces for 2SLGBTQ+IA individuals. We have many people from various cultures and communities.
Michael is also 'off script' during the cruise, sharing stories and using innuendo that is not appropriate for younger ears or sensitive people. Children are not permitted as part of this program. As adults want to talk to each other without worrying about their younger ears listening.
Changes
We are changing a few things based on previous experiences to make it easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.
- We will limit crocheters to 50 per cruise to facilitate communication and gathering on the ship.
- We are pairing down the yarn instead of nearly a suitcase of yarn that increases expenses to travel home. You will get the yarn you need for your projects, and, of course, you can use the yarn in any way you wish.
- We will have two cruises, the first exclusive to the Journey and Passport Members on our YouTube channel. As an extra thank you to this group of people with a monthly subscription to our channel to help make crochet accessible to all. The second cruise is open to the public. You can join the YouTube Monthly Membership here; the Journey Membership level gets everything in advance and access to tutorials sometimes months early. Both levels will be given equal opportunity to book the cruises first.
- Both cruises have different itineraries, with the second being a 9-day cruise offering more interaction and social time.
Back to Backers
- You can only choose one week for the conference program. Journey and Passport Members will be the first week, but the second cruise passengers can come on board and enjoy a vacation during this cruise and participate in our evening stitch socials with this group. This group of back-to-backers will be in the program for the second week. For the second cruise, the Journey and Passport Members who opted to stay on the ship for a second run are welcome to attend our evening stitch socials and travel as a regular vacation. Use your badge to enter our rental space(s).
- We had about 30 to 40% of people who went back to back, which normally took the spots for the second week to limit opportunities for people wanting to come. This allows both weeks to be fully open in the workshop space(s).
Bookings and Pricing Will Be Available
We will open bookings on July 5th, 2024. For YouTube Journey and Passport Members, you will need your YouTube Username to verify your monthly subscription membership. There are not many monthly subscribers, but if there is any space left over, it will be open to the public in the future to fill it. YouTube Journey and Passport Members will get an exclusive keep-sake gift from Mikey while on board.
All class levels will be open for booking, but we have limited inventory for each class. It's a cruise ship, and space and availability are not unlimited. You can choose a price point for the type of cabin you wish. As a crocheter, you will be treated the same in our group setting regardless of your selected cabin.
We will not put roommates together; that's up to you. Pricing will be based on two people per cabin, so you can bring a spouse or family that may not crochet with you. They will not count as part of the 50 crocheters on board. It's not uncommon to have many families with us during dinner that crocheters will bring. They will not be charged the activity fee nor be eligible for any giveaways and yarn we have on board. They are welcome to come to our private DJ Dance Party.
We cannot block the accessibility cabins; ask our agent to check the inventory if you need one. We cannot guarantee there will be stock. If you need any medical equipment for rental, our agent can make arrangements for scooters, oxygen, and other needs.
The cruise line may provide interpreters on board, but they may not be guaranteed for the entire time. Special arrangements with the cruise line will need to be made for this.
Finally
I know any event we do will have the wrong timing, location, and price. Any crochet event we do comes with a production cost and advance payments to put on the function. There are a lot of hidden costs and arrangements completed behind the scenes to make these types of events happen.
Please stay tuned for more details. The limited tickets will be launched on July 5th. Refund details and limitations will be shared on this day. I highly advise you to purchase traveller's insurance through our agent at the time of booking, as you cannot purchase it afterwards. Please consider that as part of your budget.

NVM I found the link for the community blanket I was looking for.
Hope you don’t mind that I posted on FB that Yarnspirations was running a 40% sale and that people might want to consider purchasing their homework yarn now.
Claire says
OK were did I see that we needed 3 skeins of Red Heart ombré yarn to make square as cruise homework?
S. Thompson says
I am so totally clueless about cruises (never been on one) and I'm fairly certain that I've got it wrong because I can't believe that there's a 9 day cruise for only $500. Right?
Wendy Maruna says
Yes, you are correct the cruise is not only $500. That is the activity fee.
The pricing for your cruise will depend on the cabin you select.
