Crochet your own Granny Rectangle Afghan. You may love this rectangle version if you love Granny Square Afghans as one big solid granny square. Once you get this going, going around the rectangle resembles a giant granny square.

Based on the free pattern provided, the afghan will measure approximately 60" wide by 77" long. The rectangle version allows you to crochet so you have a nice afghan to snuggle up with watching TV. You can sprawl out and not worry about your feet dangling out the bottom end typically seen with square afghans.
The version in the photograph is by our assistant, Laura Jean Bartholomew. She's an everyday crocheter, just like us.
Let me show you how to get started. The colour choices are endless and you can change colours as often or as little as you wish. You are the artist.

It won't let me print the pattern, can you email it to me? I like your tutorial.

I can’t find the pattern and I loved how simple you made it! I’m new at this and have been working on some neat stuff. I just don’t like square afghans! I love your rectAngular but I need the pattern.

there is a blue pattern button if you click on that it takes you to where you can get the pattern.

I like your granny afghan but I like the other colorway--looks like lavender, dark blue or black, light blue, and cream or light gray. Is there a place where the amounts of yarn for that version are listed?
