The multiples of this pattern are 12 + 3. The pattern is very easy to maintain. For a baby size, a recommended chain of 99 is sufficient. Of course, feel free to be creative and change what you need.

Hi, Can this be done starting with foundation stitches instead of a chain?

You sure can but I don't know the number of foundation stitches at this moment. Go for it.

        Hey Mikey!
Can you recommend how many I would chain to start if I want to make an Afghan for an adult? I recently returned to crochet (after many years of not holding a crochet hook in my hand) and need lots of encouragement! I'm currently trying to relearn by making small granny squares that I hope to become an afghan. I started it to use leftover yarn and fill some pandemic down time. Now I can't stop collecting patterns to try as my skill and confidence increase, lol!
Thanks for a beautiful pattern! I look forward to hearing from you!
        Susan

Leave it with me. I have to crochet this and measure the distance to count the stitches. I have to find time in my schedule to make this happen. I'm sorry. I won't have this done in the near future.

Where is the pattern? All I see is a picture, and questions.
