Begin 1st handle
1st row: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 3 sts. Turn.
Repeat first row until desired length. I made mine 21” long. Sl st to next 3 sc group at the top of the point. Break yarn.
Fasten yarn to the next peak of 3 sc sts and repeat to same length for the second handle. Break yarn.
Border
Attach yarn with standing sc to any stitch from 28th rnd. 1 sc in each st including up and around the end rows of the the handle. Sl st to beg sc. Break yarn. Rep on the remaining 2 sides until the entire bag is bordered. Fasten off.

If there are an odd number of ch 3 spaces on the side, it is not possible to have 4 on each side with 3dc in them and still have 2 to dc2tog…I’m struggling too.
I will ask Jeanne to follow up here. It may be because the handle is connected to one corner. I will see.
Can you be more specific about which round you are referring to? I don’t understand the question. Maybe email a photo to [email protected] and I will be able what is troubling you.
