Using the new Bernat Blanket Patchwork yarn that came out in 2025, this yarn is an eye-tease of the delight of colours that blend together in a symphony of flavour and randomly produce unique blankets. Unlike other yarns, where each colour is a specific length, it's random, so if there is a cut in the yarn, you can pick up and keep on going without clenching your teeth about it.
This is the new Crochet Patchwork Blanket pattern.

This blanket uses only 4 balls of yarn, with a colour strategy for layout to separate the balls from each other.
I changed colour when the yarn balls ran out. Ensure it finishes completely at the end of the row. Each patchwork ball is approximately 16” thick. Vintage white is used to separate.

Thanks Mikey. I’m almost done making this in Ocean for my husband. I did add one extra patchwork ball(total 4 balls of Ocean) as my husband is a big guy and wants something to cover his toes. This has worked up so quickly. Now my daughter requested one too.
