If you're looking for an innovative approach to crocheting granny squares without dealing with tail ends for each colour. This yarn aims to minimize the number of yarn tails woven at your project's end. This is the new Red Heart All In One Granny Square yarn.
I have provided written instructions and downloadable crochet diagram that appears on the ball label that is much bigger.
Suppose you have a specific question or want to know something specific about the launch, the product, or the availability. In that case, I recommend checking the official websites of Yarnspirations, Walmart, or JOANN for the most accurate and up-to-date information. Additionally, you may want to visit the craft section of these stores or contact their customer service for details on the specific product or pattern being launched.
Free patterns for this yarn are now available here.

Yarn Specifics
You can crochet up to 14 granny squares per ball. Starting in the centre of the ball and working your way through the colours. The ball band matches the colouring of the yarn itself to see where the colours land.
There is 10 oz or 283 grams of acrylic goodness with this yarn. There is also 482 yards and 440 metres.
Walmart and JOANN will be carrying various shades of this yarn with Yarnspirations.com also carrying select colours for this yarn.

The granny square pattern is very specific, so it cannot just be any granny square you wish for the yardages to hit the transition points. See below for the diagram and above for the written instructions. It's provided on the ball labels. Pay close attention to the gauge.
You can download this diagram if you are having trouble reading it on the ball label.
Additional Tips
I've been working with this yarn since Spring 2023 in the testing stages with Yarnspirations. Here are some first-hand tips I have for you.
- Do a gauge check. The yarn gauge matters the most. The yarn balls state 5.5 mm / I/9. I need to use 4.5 mm / G/6 to hit the correct gauge for this to work. Check your crochet hook if your transitions aren't where they should be.
- If you are hitting the colour transition too early. Increase your tension to stretch the yarn on the final side OR, you can switch to a smaller hook.
- If you are hitting the colour transition too late. Loosen your crochet stitches a bit on the last round to absorb more yarn. You can also switch to a larger crochet hook.
You will eventually find your rhythm with this yarn.
Recommended join are the Flat Slip Stitch Join. See video below. You can also use a Whip Stitch Join which is my favourite of the two.

Does anyone know if the colors in each different skein of ALL IN ONE correspond to Red Heart solids sold as individual colors? (Aside from neutrals white/black/aran). Wondering this for two reasons: 1) At the moment, Yarnspirations & stores such as Joann's and Michaels are all sold out of ALL IN ONE--and I'd like to make some of patterns on Yarnspirations designed for it.
2) Other reviewers who've tried ALL IN ONE say they just couldn't adjust their tension to make it work properly, so intend to just making granny squares "the old fashion way".
P.S. I'm hoping Red Heart will ramp up production of ALL IN ONE so I can try it (colors of designs on YARNSPIRATIONS.com look lovely!). Even tho I get emails from Yarnspirations, Joann's & Michaels, it seems like by the time I hear of new yarns I'd like to try, these turn out to be already discontinued (???) So fingers crossed this won't happen to ALL IN ONE....

That's a great question. If you contact Yarnspirations on their website, they will know a definitive answer.

Thank you for the information. I might have to give it a go.

Will this wool be available in Australia anytime soon.
Mikey says
I don't know this answer but you can message Yarnspirations through their website to inquire. I am not told distribution beyond Canada or USA.
