Reverse Single Crochet aka Crab Stitch
The reverse single crochet is a relatively new stitch Mikey learned in 2014. Grabbing onto the fundamentals of doing this stitch in reverse is a bit of a trick to how you rotate your hook.
It is meant for borders and final trim work. You can see it on the heart as it has bumping rope appearance. It's a great stitch to be honest with you.
So reverse means just that. You need to go back in the direction from which you came. So instead of advancing forward like regular single crochet, you go back to the previous single and do a single crochet. It naturally creates the bumps that you can see.
Give it a try, tutorial is provided below.

Hi to all .
I learned this stich about a week ago and just realised I wasn't doing it right !
Instead of having 2 loops on my hook, got only 1 ... I think I'm doing a reverse slip stich ^^, but the finished look is not bad at all !
Thanks for all the great videos Michael, really nice to watch and your voice is very nice .
