Lynne Brown, expert at quilting who originally learned to sew in 4-H has made so many quilts. She is a retired expert in customer education for Coats and Clark.

Lynne has put together the basics for beginners in making great decisions with very clear demonstrations of concepts.

Most of you know that I grew up poor. We had a wood stove to heat the house. Most of our clothing ended up as thick quilts. The quilts had no colour matching and were strictly utilitarian to keep us warm. We would good to bed with a hot water bottle.

My mom would quilt and would do the tye method as Lynne will show you here. Best quilts ever.
