The newest Bernat Blanket family of yarns now has Bernat Blanket Pet. This yarn is thinner than the original Bernat Blanket, moving it down the scale to a Bulky 5 weight. What is unique about this yarn is the natural odour control through Everfresh Probiotic Technology applied to the yarn. The yarn doesn't look or smell any different.
This treatment allows for yarn to control the odour.
I do like that it is thinner than regular Bernat Blanket. You will find ball bands to have free pattern and more patterns will be available in the future.

So glad they have this yarn and so glad we have you Mikey! I'll be making some blankets & beds for the dog rescue I volunteer with. Every dog will have a blanket for Christmas! I'm going to try making the sweater for the fosters I have.

Make Slippers! I made slippers out of this yarn for myself and family. The only issue I had was the dark blue color seemed to rub off some on my fingers. I'll be careful not to was those slippers with any light colors. Aside from that the slippers are soft, warm and comfy! I easily got 1 pair of men's from a skein, with yarn left over. If you're worried about slipping on hard floors, add a few dabs of puff paint to the soles to prevent sliding.
