What To Do With Bernat Blanket Tweeds Yarn

    Sharing is caring!

Bernat Blanket Tweeds gives a tonal colour differential change to provide the rustic, used and ultra comfy look right out of the yarn ball. Tweeds are typically spun yarn, and pieces of extra stuff are left in the fibre. In this case, the colouring represents the look only.

This yarn is the same size as the other Bernat Blanket brands. So you can mix this yarn with other Bernat Blanket yarn and win each time.

Here's an example of Caron Simply Soft Tweeds, where you can see extra pieces are left inside. Those are called 'nefs' and intentionally placed to give the illusion of hand-spun yarn.

An example of something done with this yarn is the Bernat Tweeds Basketweave Crochet Blanket.
