How To Measure Your Shoe Size

To measure your shoe size at home without the fancy tools, you can just use a piece of paper that will be bigger than your foot.

1. Draw a line at the big toe or whichever toe is the longest.
2. Draw a line at the back of your heel.
3. If you want to measure the width of your foot, trace your entire foot onto the paper.
4. Measure the distance between the lines.

Foot Health

Nail fungus, called onychomycosis, is known to affect 1 in 10 people. It's personally something I am dealing with and can speak to. You can see on this Nail Fungus Evolution Tool where you may be on the scale of infection.

What is a nightmare is that you want the toenails to be healed, but the growth of a toenail is extremely slow. It can take 6 months for the damaged nail to grow out. With someone suffering from this, 6 months is way too long but part of the recovery plan.

Of course, consult with your family doctor. My recovery has been a home remedy recommended by my doctor and my 9-month process that it took to recover my feet was prolonged by being lazy with my own recovery.

1. 3 Table Spoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in Hot Water that you can handle. Soak for 15 minutes. Thoroughly dry your feet.
2. Using Q-Tip, spread Vicks Vapo Rub onto the top of the nail and around the edges. If you crochet, do it before you put your feet up.

The apple cider is disinfecting your feet. The Vicks Vapo Rub is soaking into and under the nail where the infection is and is working its magic. For the record, I did try on-the-shelf remedies and didn't see much results which led me to go to the doctor.

I do suffer from dry feet, so the shea butter is for the bottom of my same infected foot to prevent severe cracking. I also do a sports pedicure each week to remove the callous build-up of the soles of my feet that contribute to my condition of dryness.
